I watched it, it was amazing, watch the Invictus and see how former South African president Nelson Mandela used Rugby, a white dominated sport to reconcile blacks and whites.
The blacks would rather support a foreign team playing their national team because, to them (springboks-the national rugby team) dominated by whites represented apartheid.
But Mandela, through well calculated moves managed to rally blacks behind the national rugby team and made whites more accepting of black South Africans.
The national rugby team went ahead to win the rugby world cup and everyone (white and black) celebrated together.
